BBS Network
BBS network covers a large part of Burundi’s territory and is present in all provinces of the country. It is an optical fiber network connecting the main cities and regions of Burundi, with the aim of reducing the digital divide and promoting digital inclusion throughout the country.

In addition, this network enables certain customers, including operators, Internet service providers, banks, businesses and other institutions, to transmit data, making it possible to automate and secure transactions. It also provides access to a wide range of value-added services.
Overall, the BBS network consists of more than 1,700 km of national fiber-optic network. The BBS network is connected to the rest of the world through six border points with neighboring countries.
